The blueberries just keep on coming, and before Paige headed back to school she whipped up a delish smoothie for me with the latest batch of berries I’d stashed in the freezer. She wasn’t quite happy with the results and didn’t share the recipe, so I just made one up and it went something like this:
In a blender:
1 C milk
1 C plain yogurt
1 banana (peeled )
2 T honey
2 C blueberries (frozen work great)
Whirl together and adjust with more honey or add milk if too thick.
I put very ripe bananas in the freezer for baking and smoothies. If you don’t use a frozen berries or banana add ice cubes to chill the smoothie.
Enjoy, then brush your blue teeth.
