Month of Free Camping!* (*See fine print)
If you like camping, meeting and working with people, don’t mind being decked out in “official” vests, shirts and hats, have your own camping gear and a minimum of four consecutive weeks to spend in Michigan’s great outdoors, you may be interested in applying for a post as a Campground Host at a state park, recreation area or forest with camping sites.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and ready to give 30 hours per week in return for a free campsite for the duration of their term. The mandatory training session for new hosts is June 3-4 in Roscommon.
